REMOVAL
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

removed to provide extra clarity.

left hand drive vehicles are similar.
1. If a new Engine Junction Box (EJB) is to be installed, download the stored
data using Jaguar Land Rover
(JLR) approved diagnostic equipment.

2. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
3. Remove the cowl panel.

- Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the EJB access cover.
5.

- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Reposition the wiring harness away from the EJB B.

- Release the 3 clips.
- Remove the EJB B.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the EJB B.
- Install the 3 EJB B clips.
2.
- Reposition the wiring harness into the correct location.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors to EJB B.
3.
- Install the EJB access cover.
- Install the 4 clips.
4. Install the cowl panel.
5. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
