Land Rover Defender: Differential Fluid Temperature Sensor

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

2. Drain the rear differential.

3.

Differential Fluid Temperature Sensor

Disconnect the differential fluid temperature sensor electrical connector.

4.

Differential Fluid Temperature Sensor

Remove the differential fluid temperature sensor.

INSTALLATION

1.

CAUTION: Make sure all the mating faces are clean and free from foreign material.

Install differential fluid temperature sensor.

Torque: 22Nm

2. Connect the differential fluid temperature sensor electrical connector.

3. Refill the rear differential.
