REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL
NOTES:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right side components are similar.
1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
2. Remove the wheel and tire.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 2 wiring harness from the bracket.
- Release the electrical connector from the bracket.

- Disconnect the rear suspension height sensor link from the rear lower control arm.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the rear suspension height sensor with the bracket.
5.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Remove the 2 screws.
- Remove the rear suspension height sensor from the bracket.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the rear suspension height sensor to the bracket.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.25Nm
2.
- Install the rear suspension height sensor with the bracket to the vehicle.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 10Nm
- Connect the rear suspension height sensor link to the rear lower control arm.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Secure the 2 wiring harness to the bracket.
- Secure the electrical connector to the bracket.
3. Install the wheel and tire.
4. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to calibrate the suspension ride height.

close to, or touch, the relevant lens to
switch on or off.
Front interior courtesy light: To switch
