REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

• This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
• This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

2. Power down the Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) system.

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

4.

• Remove the 3 nuts.
• Remove the MHEV battery front junction box.

INSTALLATION

1. Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the MHEV battery front junction box.

2.

• Install the MHEV battery front junction box.
• Install and tighten the 3 nuts.

  Torque: 9Nm

3. Power up the MHEV system.
