REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

Engine Undershield

Remove the 4 fasteners.
Release the 8 clips.
Remove the tow eye cover.

Engine Undershield

Remove the 10 bolts.
Remove the engine undershield cover.

Engine Undershield

Remove the 4 bolts.

Engine Undershield

Remove the 11 bolts.
Remove the engine undershield.

INSTALLATION

Install the engine undershield.
Install and tighten the 11 bolts.

Torque: 60Nm

2. Install and tighten the 4 bolts.

Torque: 5.4Nm

Install the engine undershield cover.
Install and tighten the 10 bolts.

Torque: 5.4Nm

Install the tow eye cover.
Install the 8 clips.
Install the 4 fasteners.
