Land Rover Defender: Tool kit

Make sure the relevant safety warnings have been read and understood before using the tool kit.

The tool kit is located beneath the loadspace floor panel.

The tool kit consists of the following:

  1. Jack assembly.
  2. Locking lug nut adapter.
  3. Spare wheel alignment tool.

The jack assembly consists of:

  1. Jack: Observe the instructions printed on the jack.
  2. Lug wrench.
  3. Jack handle.

Note: Tool types and positions may vary from the illustration.

Note: Examine the jack occasionally.

Clean and grease the moving parts, particularly the screw thread, to prevent corrosion.

Note: Take careful note of the storage position for each tool, as it is important to return the tools to their correct position after use.
