REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

The headlamp switch is an integral component of the Steering Wheel Module (SWM) and cannot be serviced separately.
This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

2. Remove the steering wheel.

Headlamp Switch

Remove the 2 bolts.
Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
Release the clip.
Remove the Steering Wheel Module (SWM).

INSTALLATION

Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
Install the clip.
Install the Steering Wheel Module (SWM).
Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

Torque: 1.9Nm

2. Install the steering wheel.

3. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
