REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

• The headlamp switch is an integral component of the Steering Wheel Module (SWM) and cannot be serviced separately.
• This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
• This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

2. Remove the steering wheel.

• Remove the 2 bolts.
• Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
• Release the clip.
• Remove the Steering Wheel Module (SWM).

INSTALLATION

1.

• Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
• Install the clip.
• Install the Steering Wheel Module (SWM).
• Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 1.9Nm

2. Install the steering wheel.

3. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
