REMOVAL
NOTES:
- For vehicles with secure tracker feature installed.
- The Telematics Control Unit Module (TCU) must be placed into service
mode by the owner before
proceeding - The service mode feature is not applicable for NAS markets.
- Service mode disables all alert triggers except movement alert.
- The TCU can be put into 'Service Mode' in 3 ways:
- Through the Call Centre - The owner calls the Telematics Service
Provider and requests to set the
vehicle in to 'Service Mode'.
- Through the InControl Remote smartphone App - The owner enables
'Service Mode'.
- Through the InControl website - The owner enables 'Service
Mode'.
- If the TCU is not set into service mode, then communication to and
from the TCU may be lost, which may
prevent the vehicle starting. Failure to do so may result in any warranty
claim being rejected.
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the
essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
1. The InControl system must be put in to service mode by the customer.

NOTE:
This step is only required for 90 vehicles.
Remove the left rear quarter trim panel.
3.
NOTE:
This step is only required for 110 vehicles.
Remove the left loadspace trim panel.

- Disconnect the 7 electrical connectors.
- Remove the 3 nuts.
- Remove the Telematic Control Unit Module (TCU) from the mounting
bracket.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the TCU.
- Install and tighten the 3 nuts.
Torque: 7Nm
- Connect the 7 electrical connectors.
2.
NOTE:
This step is only required for 110 vehicles.
Install the left loadspace trim panel.
3.
NOTE:
This step is only required for 90 vehicles.
Install the left rear quarter trim panel.
4. The customer must remove the InControl system from service mode.
