Land Rover Defender: Rear Bumper

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTES:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

2. Remove both rear wheel arch liners.

Rear Bumper

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

4.

Rear Bumper

Disconnect the washer hose.

5.

NOTE: This step must be completed for both sides of the vehicle.

Remove the 2 screws and the bolt.

NOTE: This step must be completed for both sides of the vehicle.

With assistance, remove the rear bumper cover.

NOTE: Only complete the following steps if a new component is to be installed.

NOTE: Repeat this step for the remaining rear park assist sensors.

Release the 2 clips and remove the rear park assist sensor.

Remove the 3 lower trim panel screws.

INSTALLATION

5. Install the 6 rear park assist sensors.

8. With assistance, install the rear bumper cover.

Install and tighten the 2 screws and the bolt.

Connect the washer hose.

15. Install both rear wheel arch liners.
