Land Rover Defender: Loadspace Retention Net

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

WARNING: Accessories which are not correctly installed can be dangerous. Read the instructions carefully prior to installation. Comply with instructions at all times. If in doubt, contact your nearest approved retailer.

NOTE: This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

REMOVAL

1.

Loadspace Retention Net

Open the tailgate.

2.

Loadspace Retention Net

Remove the loadspace cover.

INSTALLATION

1.

Loadspace Retention Net

The loadspace retention net can be used if either the fixed D-loop anchor points or the sliding D-loop anchor points are installed.

2.

NOTE: Complete step if the sliding D-loop anchor points are installed.

Loadspace Retention Net

Move the 4 sliding D-loop anchor points to the ends of the loadspace rails.

3.

Loadspace Retention Net

Raise the loop on each of the 4 D-loop anchor points.

Loadspace Retention Net

Install the loadspace retention net as illustrated.

5. There are 2 ratchet straps (B) that can be used to secure loads. These should be used if the load is too large for the loadspace retention net.

Loadspace Retention Net

The ratchet straps should be tightened as illustrated.

7.

Loadspace Retention Net

The ratchet straps should be released as illustrated.

8.

Loadspace Retention Net

Install the loadspace cover if required.

9.

Close the tailgate.
