REMOVAL

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component surface, failure to follow this instruction may result in corrosion.

NOTES:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.

2. Remove the rear subframe.

3.

NOTE: Note the orientation of the bush, before removal.

Mark the position of the rear subframe bush.

CAUTION: The bush flanges need to be removed to allow bush removal.

Remove the rear subframe bush flanges as shown.

5.

CAUTION: Make sure that the special tool is correctly located.

Use the special tool to remove the rear subframe bush.

Special Tool(s): 204-598, JLR-502-016, JLR-502-017

INSTALLATION

1.

NOTE: Make sure the bush is correctly oriented.

Rear Subframe Bush

Check the orientation of the bush.

2.

CAUTIONS:

Use the special tools to install the rear subframe bush.

Special Tool(s): 204-598, JLR-502-018, JLR-502-019

3. Install the rear subframe.
