REMOVAL
NOTES:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

removed to provide extra clarity.

side components are similar.
1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.
2. Remove the wheel and tire.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Disconnect the front suspension height sensor link from the front upper
control arm.
- Remove the bolt and remove the front suspension height sensor with the
bracket.

NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Remove the 2 screws.
- Remove the front suspension height sensor from the bracket.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the front suspension height sensor to the bracket.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.25Nm
2.
- Install the front suspension height sensor with the bracket to the
vehicle.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 7Nm
- Connect the front suspension height sensor link to the front upper
control arm.
- Connect the electrical connector to the front suspension height sensor.
3. Install the wheel and tire.
4. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to calibrate
the suspension ride height.
