REMOVAL

NOTE:

1.

Driveshaft

Release the Emergency Park Release (EPR) lever.

2. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

3. Remove the engine undershield.

4. Remove the transmission support crossmember.

5.

WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.

Driveshaft

Use the special tools to release the front driveshaft nut.

Special Tool(s): 303-1142, JLR-205-993

Remove the front driveshaft.

INSTALLATION

1.

WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.

Install the front driveshaft.

2.

CAUTION: Make sure the torque wrench setting procedure is followed correctly. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

Torque: 150Nm

5. Install the transmission support crossmember.

6. Install the engine undershield.

7. Reset the Emergency Park Release (EPR) cable.
