Land Rover Defender: Front Door Check Arm
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.
NOTES:

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.

- Remove the bolt.
- Disconnect the front door check arm.
4.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the bass speaker.
- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the front door bass speaker.

Remove the rubber access cover.

- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Remove the front door check arm.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the front door check arm.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
Torque: 9Nm
2. Install the access cover.
3.
- Install the front door bass speaker.
- Connect the electrical connector to the bass speaker.
- Install and tighten the 3 screws.
Torque: 2Nm
4.
- Connect the front door check arm.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 25Nm
5. Install the front door trim panel.
6. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
