CHECK

NOTES:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

2. Remove the 2 rear wheels and tires.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the Electric Park Brake (EPB) actuator.

CAUTION: The piston must only be released far enough to release the clamping force on the brake disc.

Use a suitable tool to release the piston as illustrated.

6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for the other side.

ADJUSTMENT

Connect the electrical connector to the EPB actuator.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other side.

4. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to calibrate the EPB actuator.

5. Install the 2 rear wheels and tires.
