Land Rover Defender: Door Mirror
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Take extra care not to damage the component.
NOTE:

removed to provide extra clarity.
1.
- Release the 7 clips.
- Remove the front door upper trim panel.
2.
NOTE:
Do not remove the component at this stage.
- Release the 3 clips.
- Release the door mirror trim panel.
3.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Disconnect the front door tweeter speaker electrical connector.
- Remove the door mirror trim panel.
4.
Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
5.
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Use a suitable tool to release the upper clip.
- Carefully release the lower clip.
- Remove the door mirror.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the door mirror.
- Install the 2 door mirror clips.
- Install and tighten the 3 door mirror bolts.
Torque: 9Nm
2. Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the door mirror.
3.
- Connect the electrical connector to the front door tweeter speaker.
- Install the 2 front door tweeter speaker electrical connector clips.
4.
- Install the door mirror trim panel.
- Install the 3 door mirror trim panel clips.
5.
- Install the front door upper trim panel.
- Install the 7 clips.
