REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right
side components are similar.

- Note the original position of the door mirror glass.
- Use the door mirror switchpack to reposition the door mirror glass as
illustrated.

Use protective tape as illustrated.

CAUTION:
- Take extra care not to damage the component.
- Use a suitable plastic trim tool to release the component.
- Do not remove the component at this stage.
- Take extra care when releasing the clips.

Release the door mirror glass from the 8 clips.

- Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
- Remove the door mirror glass.
INSTALLATION
1.
CAUTION:
- Make sure that the wiring harnesses are correctly located.
- Not to use any tools, complete the step by hand only.
- Make sure all the clips are properly attached.
- An audible click is heard when the door mirror glass is located
correctly.
- Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Install the door mirror glass.
2. Remove the protective tape.

- Clean the door mirror glass.
- Use the door mirror switchpack to reposition the door mirror glass to
the original position.
