REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Always protect paintwork and windows when removing exterior components.

NOTES:

• This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
• This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
• This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right side components are similar.

1. Open the front door.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

• Carefully release the 2 clips.
• Remove the bolt cover.

CAUTIONS:

• Take extra care not to damage the component.
• Do not use tools during this operation, removal of the component(s) must be completed by hand.

• Remove the bolt.
• Remove the windshield moulding.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the contrast roof finisher decal when installing the windshield moulding.

This step contains information for the following steps.

NOTE: Make sure the windshield moulding is correctly installed as illustrated.

• Install the windshield moulding to the 14 clips.
• Install and tighten the bolt.

  Torque: 6Nm

3.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

Install the bolt cover to the 2 clips.

4. Close the front door.
