REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
The following step(s) applies to: All vehicles
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles with third row seats

- Release the 2 fasteners.
- Release the second row seat cushion.
- Disconnect the seat cushion heating element electrical connector.
- Remove the second row seat cushion.

- Release the clip.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Release the bolt.
- Remove the second row center seatbelt buckle assembly.
The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles without third row seats

- Release the 4 fasteners.
- Release the second row seat cushion.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Release the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Remove the second row seat cushion.

- Remove the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove and discard the nut.
- Remove the rear seatbelt buckle.

NOTE: If equipped.

- Remove the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove and discard the nut.
- Remove the rear seatbelt buckle.
INSTALLATION
The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles without third row seats
1.
- Install the rear seatbelt buckle.
- Install and tighten the new nut.
Renew Part: Seatbelt buckle nut(s) Quantity: 1.
Torque: 48Nm
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.

NOTE: If equipped.
- Install the rear seatbelt buckle.
- Install and tighten the new nut.
Renew Part: Seatbelt buckle nut(s) Quantity: 1.
Torque: 48Nm
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
3.
- Connect the 2 second row seat cushion heating element electrical connectors.
- Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Install the second row seat cushion.
The following step(s) applies to: Vehicles with third row seats
4.
- Install the second row seat center seatbelt buckle assembly.
- Tighten the bolt.
Torque: 40Nm
- Install the 2 clips.
- Connect the electrical connector.
5.
- Connect the seat wiring harness electrical connector.
- Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the seat cushion heating element electrical connector.
- Install the second row seat cushion.
The following step(s) applies to: All vehicles
6. Connect the battery ground cable.

FRONT ROW SEAT
Depending on vehicle specification, various options are available for the
front row seats with regard to temperature
control and electrical adjustment.
Seats are manually or electrically operated with the following adjustment
