Land Rover Defender: Rear Proximity Camera

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTES:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.

2. With assistance, remove the rear bumper.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear proximity camera.

NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

INSTALLATION

1.

NOTE: Make sure that the rear proximity camera is correctly located to the bracket. Audible clicks will be heard to confirm the connection.

Install the rear proximity camera to the bracket.

3. With assistance, install the rear bumper.

4.

NOTE: Make sure that the camera calibration cycle is completed following removal or replacement of the proximity camera.
