Land Rover Defender: Rear Park Assist Sensor

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTES:

1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.

2. With assistance, remove the rear bumper.

3.

Rear Park Assist Sensor

Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear park assist sensor.

4.

Rear Park Assist Sensor

Release the 2 clips and remove the rear park assist sensor.

INSTALLATION

1.

CAUTIONS:

Rear Park Assist Sensor

Check the paint layer of the parking assist sensor.

2.

CAUTIONS:

Rear Park Assist Sensor

Before installing the rear park assist sensor, check the condition and the position of the ring.

3.

NOTE: Make sure that the sensor is correctly located to the bracket. Audible clicks will be heard to confirm connection.

4. With assistance, install the rear bumper.
