REMOVAL

WARNING: Fluid loss is unavoidable, use absorbent cloth or a container to collect the fluid.

CAUTIONS:

NOTES:

1. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment and set the Integrated Power Brake to the assembly mode.

2. Activate the Electric Park Brake (EPB) Service Mode.

3. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.

4. Remove the rear wheel and tire.

NOTE: Note the orientation of the component prior to removal.

Remove the 2 bolts.

WARNING: Fluid loss is unavoidable, use absorbent cloth or a container to collect the fluid.

CAUTION: If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.

NOTE: Note the orientation of the component prior to removal.

Remove the banjo bolt.

Rear Brake Hose

Remove and discard the hose.

INSTALLATION

1.

CAUTION: Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted and is correctly located.

NOTE: Make sure the brake hose is installed in the correct orientation.

Install the brake hose.

Renew Part: Brake hose Quantity: 1.

2. Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

3. Install and tighten the brake hose banjo bolt.

Torque: 35Nm

6. Use the Integrated Power Brake 'Leakage and Air Monitoring' to inspect the complete brake system for volume consumption and leakage.

7. If the bleeding is not successful, preform the Integrated Power Brake Repair Bleed.

8. Use the JLR approved diagnostic equipment and disable the Integrated Power Brake assembly mode.

9. Deactivate the EPB Service Mode.

10. Install the rear wheel and tire assembly.
