1. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2-post lift.
2. Remove the front lower control arm.

Remove the 2 protective covers.

- Install the special tools in the correct orientation.

- Use a suitable hydraulic press to remove the front lower control arm
bush.
General Equipment: Hydraulic press
INSTALLATION

Note the 2 timing marks for the installation.

- Assemble the special tool of the appropriate side.
Special Tool(s): JLR-204-817
- Position 1, left front lower control arm.
- Position 2, right front lower control arm.

CAUTION: Make sure the special tool is in the correct orientation. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle and tool.

Install the special tool in the correct orientation.

- Make sure bush is positioned in the correct orientation. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

- Position the front lower control arm bush to the special tool as shown.
- Install the special tool in the correct orientation.
Special Tool(s): JLR-204-816
- Use a suitable hydraulic press to install the front lower control arm
bush.
