Land Rover Defender: Front Door Window Regulator

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

WARNING: To avoid accidental deployment, the Restraints Control Module (RCM) backup power supply must be depleted. Wait at least 1 minute after disconnecting the startup battery ground cable(s) before doing any repair or adjustment to the Supplementary Restraint System (SRS), or any component(s) adjacent to the SRS sensors. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

CAUTION: Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.

NOTES:

1.

Front Door Window Regulator

Lower the front door window.

2. Make the Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) safe.

3. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

4. Remove the front door trim panel.

INSTALLATION

1.

2. Remove the adhesive tape.

3.

CAUTION: Make sure that 2 audible clicks are heard when the clips are fully located.

6. Install the front door trim panel.

7. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
