REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
CAUTIONS:
- Use a suitable trim tool.
- Make sure to protect the paintwork.
NOTES:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right
side components are similar.
1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

- Release the 11 clips.
- Remove the front door armrest trim.

- Open the front door interior handle.
- Remove the mid-range speaker trim.

- Release the 16 clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the front door ambience
lighting.
- Remove the front door pocket trim.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the 10 screws.

- Release the 9 clips.
- Remove the front door trim panel.

- Release and disconnect the front door interior handle cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the mid-range speaker.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the central door locking
switch.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors from the front door ambience
lighting wiring harness.
- Release the 4 wiring harness clips.

NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Remove the 5 screws.
- Remove the front door interior handle trim.

- Remove the 4 screws.
- Remove the front door interior handle.

- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the mid-range speaker.

- Release the interior handle ambience lighting electrical connector.
- Release the 3 wiring harness clips.
- Remove the interior handle ambience lighting.

- Release the front door pocket ambience lighting electrical connector.
- Remove the 5 screws.
- Release the 3 wiring harness clips.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the front door pocket.

- Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the central door locking switch.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the central door locking switch.
2.
- Install the front door pocket.
- Install and tighten the 5 screws.
Torque: 1.5Nm
- Secure the front door pocket ambience lighting electrical connector and
wiring harness.
3.
- Install the interior handle ambience lighting.
- Secure the interior handle ambience lighting electrical connector and
wiring harness.
4.
- Install the mid-range speaker.
- Install and tighten the 3 screws.
Torque: 1.5Nm
5.
- Install the front door interior handle.
- Install and tighten the 4 screws.
Torque: 1.5Nm
6.
- Install the front door interior handle trim.
- Install and tighten the 5 screws.
Torque: 1.5Nm
7. Inspect the front door trim panel clips if damaged replace them.
8.
- Install the 4 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the electrical connector to the mid-range speaker.
- Connect the electrical connector to the central door locking switch.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the front door ambience lighting
wiring harness.
- Install and secure the front door interior handle cable.
9.
- Install the front door trim panel.
- Secure the 9 clips.

- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
Torque: 5Nm
- Install and tighten the 10 screws.
Torque: 1.5Nm
11.
- Connect the electrical connector to the front door ambience lighting.
- Install the front door pocket trim.
12.
- Open the front door interior handle.
- Install the mid-range speaker trim.
13. Install the front door armrest trim.
14. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
