Land Rover Defender: Anti-Theft Alarm Horn With Integral Battery

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

The following step(s) applies to: All vehicles

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

2. Remove the secondary bulkhead right panel.

The following step(s) applies to: Left-hand drive vehicles

3. Remove the Engine Junction Box (EJB).

Anti-Theft Alarm Horn With Integral Battery

Reposition the wiring harness to get access to the Battery Back-Up Sounder (BBUS).

The following step(s) applies to: Right-hand drive vehicles

7. Remove the Integrated Power Brake.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

INSTALLATION

2. Install the Integrated Power Brake.

5. Reposition the wiring harness in the correct location.

6. Install the Engine Junction Box (EJB).

7. Install the secondary bulkhead right panel.

8. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
