REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:
- Left Hand Drive illustration(s) shown, Right Hand Drive is similar.

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Remove the instrument panel lower trim.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the footwell lamp.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the accelerator pedal.
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Remove the accelerator pedal.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the accelerator pedal.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
Torque: 9Nm
- Connect the electrical connector to the accelerator pedal.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the footwell lamp.
3.
- Install the instrument panel lower trim.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
4. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

CHECK
CAUTIONS:
If one hole/thread is damaged, all remaining holes/threads must have
a steel insert installed.
Make sure that the drill speed is not at maximum when repairing the
damaged hole/thread. Use a suitable
electric drill with a slow speed setting.
