REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains illustrations for right side components, left
side components are similar.
1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

Open the tailgate.

NOTE:
Repeat this step for the other side.

- Release the 6 clips.
- Remove the upper body finisher.

NOTE:
Do not remove the component at this stage.

Release the 11 clips.

NOTE:
With assistance remove the components.

- Release the 2 clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the rear spoiler finisher.

Release the 4 clips.

NOTE:
Repeat the step for the other side.

- Use a suitable tool to cut the adhesive material.
- Remove the SOTA 4G antenna.
INSTALLATION
1.
CAUTION:
- Make sure that all residual adhesive material is removed from the
body.
- Make sure all mating faces are clean and dry before applying sealant.
NOTE:
Repeat the step for the other side.

- Clean the mating surfaces with a suitable cleaner.
- Apply suitable adhesive to the areas shown in the illustration.

NOTE:
Make sure that the component is correctly located.

- Install the 4 clips to the rear spoiler bracket.
- Install the 2 SOTA 4G antennas to the rear spoiler bracket.
3.
NOTE:
With assistance, install the component.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the 2 clips.
- Install the rear spoiler finisher.
4. Install the 11 clips.
5.
- Install and tighten the 4 rear spoiler finisher bolts.
Torque: 4.5Nm
6.
NOTE:
Repeat the step for the other side.
- Install the upper body finisher.
- Make sure the 6 clips are correctly installed.
7. Close the tailgate.
8. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
