Land Rover Defender: Secondary Bulkhead Right Panel

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

• This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
• This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

1.

• Release the 5 clips.
• Remove the access cover.

2.

• Release the 5 air suspension pipe clips.
• Reposition the air suspension pipes away from the secondary bulkhead right panel.
• Release the 3 windshield washer jet hose clips.
• Reposition the windshield washer jet hose away from the secondary bulkhead right panel.

3.

Remove the 3 bolts.

4.

• Remove the 2 bolts.
• Remove the secondary bulkhead right panel.

INSTALLATION

1.

• Install the secondary bulkhead right panel.
• Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

  Torque: 5.4Nm

2.

• Install and tighten the 3 bolts.

  Torque: 6Nm

3.

• Reposition the windshield washer jet hose into the correct location.
• Reposition the air suspension pipes into the correct location.
• Install the 3 windshield washer jet hose clips.
• Install the 5 air suspension pipe clips.

4.

• Install the access cover.
• Install the 5 clips.
