Land Rover Defender: Interior Air Filter

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTE:

1.

Interior Air Filter

Open the glovebox.

2.

Interior Air Filter

Release the glovebox damper arm from the glovebox.

3.

CAUTION: Extra care must be taken to avoid damage to the glovebox and surrounding components.

Remove the interior air filter housing.

Interior Air Filter

Remove the interior air filter element.

INSTALLATION

1.

CAUTION: Make sure the interior air filter element is installed correctly as illustrated with no visible gaps between the interior air filter housing and interior air filter element.

Install the interior air filter element.

Interior Air Filter

Make sure the interior air filter element is installed correctly as shown in the illustration.

3.

CAUTION: Make sure the arrow on the interior air filter housing is facing upwards.

Interior Air Filter

Install the interior air filter housing.

CAUTION: Extra care must be taken to avoid damage to the glovebox and surrounding components.

6. Install the glovebox damper arm to the glovebox.

7. Close the glovebox.
