GENERAL PROCEDURES

GENERAL EQUIPMENT

ACTIVATION

1. Connect the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) diagnostic equipment and start a new session.

• Navigate to control computer (ECU) diagnostics
• Select " Anti-Lock Brake System Control Module (ABS)" from the list
• Select "Set Assembly Mode"
• Select "Enable" from within the application.

3.

• Save the session and disconnect the JLR diagnostic equipment.

• Set the ignition to the OFF position.

DEACTIVATION

1. Connect the JLR diagnostic equipment and enter the saved session.

• Navigate to ECU diagnostics
• Select " ABS" from the list
• Select "Set Assembly Mode"
• Select "Disable" from within the application.

3.

• Exit the session and disconnect the JLR diagnostic equipment.

• Assess the brake pedal both statically and dynamically.
