REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the
essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations for right hand drive vehicles,
left hand drive vehicles are similar.
1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the instrument panel outer side trim.

- Remove the bolt.
- Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the instrument panel driver side trim.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the instrument panel passenger side trim panel.

Remove the bolt.

- Release the 10 clips.
- Remove the instrument panel surround trim.

Release the footwell lamp.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the footwell lamp.

- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the instrument panel lower trim cover.
10.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the screw.
- Release the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) electrical connector.
- Release the instrument panel lower trim.

- Disconnect the 5 electrical connectors.
- Remove the instrument panel lower trim.

NOTE:
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Remove the 4 screws.
- Remove the Electric Park Brake (EPB) switch.

- Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the instrument panel lower trim switchpack.

- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the Bluetooth antenna.
INSTALLATION
1.
NOTE:
Only complete this step if previously removed.
Install the Bluetooth antenna.

NOTE:
Only complete this step if previously removed.
Install the instrument panel lower trim switchpack.
3.
NOTE:
Only complete this step if previously removed.
- Install the Electric Park Brake (EPB) switch.
- Install and tighten the 4 screws.
Torque: 1.5Nm
4.
- Connect the 5 electrical connectors.
- Install the instrument panel lower trim.
5.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
Torque: 2.5Nm
- Install and tighten the screw.
Torque: 1.7Nm
- Install the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) electrical connector.
6.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the footwell lamp.
- Install the instrument panel lower trim cover.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5Nm
7.
- Install the instrument panel lower surround trim.
- Install the 10 clips.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 1.7Nm
8.
- Install the instrument panel driver side trim.
- Install the instrument panel driver side trim 4 clips.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 1.7Nm
9.
NOTE:
Make sure that the bolts are centered in the bolt hole.

- Install the instrument panel driver outer side trim.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts in the sequence shown.
Torque: 2.5Nm
10.
NOTE:
Make sure that the bolts are centered in the bolt hole.

- Install the instrument panel passenger trim panel.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts in the sequence shown.
Torque: 2.5Nm
11. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
