Land Rover Defender: Headlamp Washer Jet

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

REMOVAL

NOTES:

• This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
• This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
• This procedure contains illustrations for left side components, right side components are similar.

1. Remove the radiator grille.

2.

• Use a suitable trim tool to release the access cover 7 clips
• Remove the access cover.

3.

NOTE: Be prepared to collect the escaping fluids.

• Disconnect the headlamp washer jet hose from the headlamp washer jet.
• Remove the headlamp washer jet from the headlamp trim panel.

INSTALLATION

1.

• Install the headlamp washer jet into the headlamp trim panel.
• Connect the headlamp washer jet hose to the headlamp washer jet.

2.

CAUTION: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.

Install the access cover.

3. Install the radiator grille.
