REMOVAL
CAUTIONS:
- Make sure the ignition is OFF at all times during the replacement
procedure.
- Care must be taken to avoid damaging the surrounding components.
- After removal and installation of the rain/light sensor, wait 10
minutes before the calibration routine is
completed. Failure to follow this instruction may result in calibration
failure.
NOTES:

- Release the 7 clips.
- Remove the cover.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the rain/light sensor.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the rain/light sensor.
INSTALLATION
CAUTIONS:
- Make sure that the rain/light sensor is correctly installed.
- Make sure that the windshield and rain/light sensor are not
contaminated.
- Make sure that the area is clean and free from foreign materials.
NOTES:
- Prior to switch the ignition ON first time after the rain/light
sensor replacement please allow at least 10
minutes for the gel pad to adhere to the windshield surface.
- Following the settle period - preform a rain sensor re-adaption
request using JLR diagnosis (ensure both
front doors, and hood are closed, stalk in auto position and ignition is
switched ON).

CAUTIONS:
- Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.
- Make sure that the rain/light sensor is fully adheres to the
windshield.
- Install the electrical connector to the rain/light sensor.
- Install the rain/light sensor.
- Install the cover.
2. Allow 10 minutes before calibrating the rain/light sensor.
3. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to calibrate
the rain/light sensor.
