Land Rover Defender: Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

REMOVAL

NOTE:

1. Remove the front row center seat.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

3.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Remove the 2 screws.

4.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Remove the seatbelt guide trim.

5.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the clips.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Release the seat rear trim from the 5 clips.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Release the seat cushion cover from the clip.

8.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Release the seat cushion cover from the 6 clips.

CAUTIONS:

Remove the seat cushion cover, as shown in the illustration.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Remove and discard the bolt.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Disconnect the electrical connector.

13.

Front Row Center Seatbelt Retractor

Feed the seatbelt through the seat.

INSTALLATION

1.

2. Feed the seatbelt through the seat.

3. Connect the electrical connector.

4. Install and tighten a new bolt.

Renew Part: Seatbelt buckle bolt(s) Quantity: 1.

Torque: 25Nm

5. Install the seat cushion cover.

6.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the clips.

NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

7. Install the 6 seat cushion cover clips.

8. Install the seat cushion cover clip.

9.

10. Install the seat rear trim to the 5 clips.

11. Install the seatbelt guide trim.

12. Install and tighten the 2 screws.

13.

14. Install the front row center seat.
