Land Rover Defender: Front Row Seat Height Motor
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:

1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front row seat cushion blower.
3. Remove the front row seat cushion cover.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Release the clip.
Remove the height motor bolt.

Reposition the front row seat base.

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the front row seat height motor.
INSTALLATION
1.
- Install the front row seat height motor.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
Torque: 28Nm
2. Install the front row seat base.
3.
NOTE:
Repeat the step for the other side.
Install and tighten the seat base bolt.
Torque: 8Nm
4. Install the wiring harness clip.
5. Install and tighten the height motor bolt.
Torque: 28Nm
6. Connect the electrical connector to the front row seat height motor.
7. Install the front row seat cushion cover.
8. Install the front row seat cushion blower.
9. Connect the startup battery ground cable.
