Land Rover Defender: Interior Rear View Mirror
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending
on the vehicle specification, but the
essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components
removed to provide extra clarity.

- Release the 5 clips.
- Remove the cover.

Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
3.
CAUTION:
To avoid damage to the rear view mirror, make sure force is only applied at the
rear view mirror
mounting bracket.

- Rotate the rear view mirror mounting bracket 30 degrees
counterclockwise.
- Remove the rear view mirror.
INSTALLATION
1.
NOTE:
Before rotating the part into position, Make sure that the 4 retainers on the
mounting bracket have
fully engaged with the base. To install, rotate the rear view mirror mounting
bracket 30 degrees in
the clockwise direction. An audible click may be heard.
Install the rear view mirror.
2. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
3. Install the cover.
