1. Before handling any components within the Supplementary Restraint System (SRS), make sure that the safety guidelines are followed.

2. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

4. If a new component has been installed, use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to configure the RCM.
