of Land Rover vehicles in the United
States, Puerto Rico, and Guam and cover
only vehicles originally specified and built

Engine start backup
The engine start backup feature is
required to disarm the alarm and start the
engine if either of the following occur:
The vehicle is unlocked using the
emergency key blade.
The smart key is not detected by the
vehicle.
The engine start backup feature can only
be used when the instrument panel
Removal
1. Open the hood.
2.
Remove the hood latch panel finisher.
Remove the 6 clips.
Remove the hood latch panel finisher.

NOTES:
This step requires the aid of another technician.
Only complete steps 1 to 15 of the referenced front bumper workshop

on the front bum
