SIDE AIR CURTAINS

The side air curtains are installed along both sides of the vehicle, under
the edges of the headliner. The side air
curtains provide head protection and roll-over ejection protection for outside
seat occupants. The side air curtains are
operated during a side impact occurs.
The front and rear ends of the side air curtains are anchored to the body. Their
deployment area extends between the
A-pillar and D-pillar trims, passing over the upper B-pillar and C-pillar trim.

SEATBELT RETRACTOR PRETENSIONERS
- Retractor pretensioner - Front row outer

- Retractor pretensioner - Second row bench central - 5 seat
- Retractor pretensioner - Second row bench central - 7 seat
All of the seatbelt retractor pretensioners incorporate an emergency locking
function and a load limiter function. On
NAS vehicles, the retractors of the front passenger and rear seatbelts also
incorporate an automatic locking function.
OPERATION
DIAGNOSTICS
The RCM records any Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)s and related data. Read the
DTCs and related data with the
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment.
The JLR approved diagnostic equipment enables certain components to be activated
and also live data to be read.
